Privacy policy
Jordan operates this personal automation for invited family members. This policy describes the current Telegram and Google Calendar setup. Calendar actions through Telegram are still being configured.
Information the helper accesses
- Telegram: messages sent to the bot, sender and chat identifiers, profile information included in those messages, and any attachments users send.
- Google Calendar: the list of calendars available to an authorized account and event information, which may include titles, dates, times, descriptions, locations, and attendees.
- Authorization: Google authorization tokens that let the server perform permitted calendar operations. The helper does not receive your Google password.
How information is used
Information is used to identify participating family members, run configured calendar workflows, send relevant bot responses, and troubleshoot the service. The requested event permission permits reading, creating, updating, and deleting events on calendars the account can access. The separate calendar-list permission permits listing those calendars.
Google user data is not sold or used for advertising. Jordan Family Helper's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Storage and service providers
The automation runs on Jordan's n8n server hosted by Hostinger, with access routed through Cloudflare. The server stores connection credentials and may retain message and event information in workflow execution records and backups. Jordan can access these records to operate and troubleshoot the helper.
Google processes calendar requests. Telegram processes bot messages and any calendar information sent in bot replies. Hostinger and Cloudflare provide hosting and network services. These providers process relevant information under their own policies. If a Google calendar is separately connected to Skylight, that connection handles its own calendar sync.
The current setup does not include an external AI service. This policy will be updated before introducing a new use or recipient of Google user data.
Retention and your choices
Execution records and backups remain until removed or expired under the server's settings; this project does not currently promise a fixed deletion period. You can stop messaging the bot and revoke its Google access from Google Account connections.
Revoking access stops future authorized Google access. It does not automatically erase existing calendar events, Telegram messages, server records, or backups. Contact Jordan through your existing family contact method to request help or removal of data held by the helper, including retained backups where applicable.
This information website
These pages contain no analytics scripts, forms, or calendar data. The hosting provider may process ordinary connection information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect the website.
